Jolly List privacy policy

Jolly List collects no data about you. Your gift list stays on your devices and in your own iCloud account, where the developer can’t see it.

Last updated October 18, 2026. This policy covers the Jolly List app for iPhone and iPad.

What the app stores, and where

Everything you enter (people, gifts, ideas, budgets, occasions, photos and notes) is stored on your device and synced through your own iCloud account with Apple’s CloudKit. That data is in your private iCloud database. The developer has no access to it and runs no servers of their own.

If you share your list, the person you invite can see and change it, through iCloud sharing. You can stop sharing at any time in Settings.

What the app does not do

Things the app uses when you ask it to

Diagnostics

If you agree to share analytics with app developers in your device’s settings, Apple may pass on crash reports and performance data. They don’t identify you or include your list. TestFlight testers can also send feedback and screenshots on purpose; those reach the developer through App Store Connect.

Deleting your data

Delete this season and start over, in the app’s Settings, removes your list from every device that shares it. To remove it from iCloud entirely, open the Settings app, tap your name, then iCloud, then Manage Storage, and delete Jolly List’s data. Deleting the app removes what is stored on that device.

Children

Jolly List is meant for adults planning gifts. It doesn’t knowingly collect anything from anyone, children included.
